On this combined golf and sightseeing tour, you play Vietnam's BEST and NEWEST courses with time to do the "bucket list experiences" of Vietnam.
Overview
The tour begins with 2 nights in colourful Hanoi with a welcome dinner and a half day Hanoi sightseeing tour including lunch. We then head to famous Halong Bay for an overnight 5-star cruise.
The next day is a travel day as we fly to historic Hue and check in for a 4-night stay at the glamorous 5-star beachside resort of Angsana Lang Co. We play golf at the stunning Laguna Lang Co Championship Course (rated 5) and the brand new Golden Sands Golf Links. Laguna Lang Co is a beautiful course nestled between rugged mountains, sandy beaches and rice paddies. This course is one of our favourites and gets better every time we visit.
You also do sightseeing in Hue, which has argubly the best cultural heritage and Vietnamese charm in ALL of Vietnam. Hue is the former imperial capital and boasts a treasure trove of world-renowned ancient wonders, distinctive culture and traditional cuisine.
We leave Laguna Lang Co and head into the hills to play Ba Na Hills (rated 6), a spectacular course with dramatic elevation changes. After golf we continue south to Danang and check into the 5-star Pullman Beach Resort for 4-nights.
Whilst in Danang, we visit the historic and vibrant town of Hoi An, a delightful town with a mix of old and new, bustling markets and located on a peaceful riverfront. There is the option to cooking class a the Red Bridge Cooking School. We also play top quality golf at BRG Da Nang Norman (rated 4) and Hoiana Shores (rated 2).
The main tour ends the next day in Danang OR you have the option to continue onto Ho Chi Minh City for sightseeing and 2 rounds of golf at The Bluffs rated 1 in Vietnam.
Optional Post Trip to Hoi Chi Minh and The Bluffs
We catch a short flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City, then travel by road to Ho Tram for a 2-night stay. The golf hits a high note here, with 2 rounds at the Number One Course in Vietnam, The Bluffs. You will have the luxury of enjoying two rounds at The Bluffs, a spectacular seaside links with rolling dunes and ocean views. We then head back to Ho Chi Minh and check into 2-nights in a beautiful hotel located in the heart of this bustling city. You do a best of Saigon Tour and finish the tour with a farewell dinner.
All the accommodation throughout the tour is 5-star luxury and ideally located so you get the most out of your time in Vietnam.
Non-golfers are most welcome to join this tour with their golfing partners.

Apricot Hotel Hanoi - (5 star)
Ideally located overlooking the fabled Hoan Kiem Lake in central Hanoi, the neo-classical Apricot Hotel is an ideal place to begin your Vietnam experience. The hotel isinspired by classic french architecture mixed with Vietnamese art, glamourous past and modernity. Walking distance to the Old Quarter, night market and Ly Thai To Park.
Heritage Cruise Binh Chaun 5 star - Halong Bay
A 5-star overnight cruise on Halong Bay including all meals and activities. Heritage Binh Chuan promises a luxury stay right above the emerald water of Lan Ha Bay.Heritage Binh Chuan's built-in 20 boutique cabins, including 6 Delta Suites, 10 Ocean Suites, 2 Captain Suites, and 2 Regal Suites. Despite having a different design, all units are spacious, ranging from 33 to 46 sqm, and clad with high-end amenities. The design is mainly inspired by the Indochine style but still able to express the tradition and culture of past time. With the intention of maximizing the coverage of natural lights, arched staircases and large windows are used everywhere. The cabins have their own private balconies and a large bathroom with huge glass windows for green Bay vistas. ITINERARY
Sunday 10th August - Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to Apricot Hotel. Check into 5* Apricot Hotel Canvas Lake view. Welcome dinner.
Monday 11th August - Breakfast. Half day Hanoi in style by Jeep excursion with lunch.
Tuesday 12th August - Breakfast. Transfer to Halong Bay and board cruise for a 1 night/2-day cruise on 5-star Heritage Cruises Binh Chuan, delta suite.
Board the Heritage Cruise's boat and enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in to your suite. Lunch is served at L’Indochine Restaurant. Later cruise to Da Chong islet, where you can see a heritage lighthouse built by the French more than 100 years ago. After lunch, cruise to Gia Luan Lagoon where limestone karst formations rise out of the sea. This quiet bay is untouched and remote, as not many cruise ships visit. At 15:30 the cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao beach (or Tra Bau) in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. Activities include afternoon tea and the chef will lead a Vietnamese cooking class. Afterwards, a memorable dining experience will be offered at the restaurant, with local food in an intimate and romantic setting. Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar on the top deck. Try your hand with squid fishing. The bars are open until late. Lunch & dinner included.

It is chance to learn how to select fresh produce and which ingredient put into Central cuisine. Then embark on a 30min boat trip to the school. Get your camera ready as the cruise offers a glimpse of local river life. Upon arrival at this green space, enjoy a private hands-on cooking class. Don’t you know the pleasurable bit of cooking classes is to smell the delicious food being prepared and then getting to eat them. Full day Chi Chi Tunnels & Saigon City Tour including Ben Thanh Market, Reunification Palace, and lunch Enjoy a drive northwest of Saigon to Cu Chi Tunnels, through urbanized areas and a typically lush southern Vietnamese countryside. Digging for the tunnel complex commenced in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. After that, the hiding spots also served as communication routes and food and weapon caches and hospitals, and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the war between the Vietnamese and Americans. Visit the underground villages to understand better the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels, and the Vietnamese’s resilience during the combats. Return to Saigon. In the afternoon, admire Saigon’s historic landmarks, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, a massive red-brick edifice with twin spires and French influence, and the Central Post Office influenced by Renaissance architecture. Finish the tour stopping by the Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh Market before driving back to the hotel.
