This epic 14 day tour may just change your life!
The group lands in Reykjavik, and hits the ground running, heading to the beautiful Snaefellsnes Peninsula for a two night stay in paradise exploring.
On the way back to Reykjavik the golf program kicks off with clifftop golf at Brautarholt.
I hope you sleep well  because the world famous Golden Circle awaits- it is a big day- National Parks, waterfalls, hot geysers, craters...
The next day you transfer to Keilir GC- the best course in Iceland- and in the afternoon explore the unique vibe of modern Reykjavik.
Your next adventure is a ferry ride to Vestman Island to play golf- it is a beautiful course in a wild natural setting.
Back on mainland you head to the small coastal town of Vik, to experience the mighty Skogafoss waterfall, black sand beaches, glaciers and the lovely nine hole course at Vik.
On the way back to the airport you drop in for some downtime at the famous Blue Lagoon.
Finally you head to the airport and fly north to play golf under the midnight sun in The Arctic Open
You will meet fellow competitors from around the world

 Itinerary


Day 1

Arrival Iceland. Transfer from the airport to the Buddir hotel on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula for a 2 night stay.  

Hotel Budir is set on a lava field on the Snaefellsness peninsula. This relaxed hotel overlooking the Snaefellsjokull glacier is a 3-minute walk from the striking black-and-white Búðakirkja church and 15km from Snaefellsjokull National Park. It is considered one of the most beautiful countryside hotels in Iceland in a magical location

Day 2

Explore the Snaefellsnes Peninsula

A drive around the peninsula takes you to lots of sights including craters (Saxholl), museums (Hellissandur). lighthouses (Marariff, where the visitor centre is located), waterfalls ( Mt Kirkjufell), beautiful coastal walks & scenery (Hellnar & Arnastapi) an dlava caves.

Day 3

Further explore the peninsula in the morning- perhaps book a horse ride to the beach on the Icelandic ponies?

Late morning head back to Reykjavik, stopping for golf at the magnificent Brautarholt Golf Course

After golf check in to your city hotel in the heart of Rekjavik

Day 4

The Golden Circle Classic.

This popular excursion introduces you to some of the best known historical sites and natural phenomena in Iceland. Duration of tour is eight hours.

Day 5

play Keillir GC, Iceland's no 1 course!

In the afternoon explore the sights of Reykjavik 

Day 6 

 Transfer to ferry port Landeyjarhöfn and ferry to Westman Island, transfer to hotel.  After arrival a bus tour around the Island and dropped off at hotel.

Day 7

Golf in Vestmannaeyjar in morning and afternoon ferry ride back over to mainland. 

Bus pick up and transfer over to the village of Vik for a 2 night stay

Day 8 

Visit the sights-  the waterfalls of Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss, the Black Beach at Reynisfjara and the power of the ocean at Dyraholey.

Transfer to airport for morning flight RKV – AEY.  Transfer to hotel.  

Afternoon practice round at Akureyri GC and in the evening a welcome dinner as part of the Arctic Open package.
