PuntaCana Resort- Corales Course, hole 7
The Corales Course at PuntaCana was designed by Tom Fazio and opened for play in April 2010.
The course has seven holes right on the ocean, including the spectacular eighteenth hole.
Tom Fazio is quoted: "Welcome to Corales, one of the most spectacular sites for golf in the world.
The golf course at Corales is an adventure taking you through many environments, from inland holes bordered by lush trees and vegetation to holes playing beside crystal blue lakes and ultimately along oceanfront cliffs and crashing waves.
Golf has been foremost in the design of Corales and that is evident by the fact that all of the oceanfront property on the project has been dedicated to the golf course.
No less than seven holes have the ocean in play at some point.
With a variety of short and long holes, holes playing into the wind as well as down wind and a tremendous mixture of visual elements, playing Corales will be an experience to remember!

The Devil's Elbow
The final three holes at Corales are collectively known as "The Devil's Elbow"
These three holes have been masterfully and strategically designed to assess the golfers' mettle.
They boldly challenge all levels of play, while offering a panoramic view of nature's beauty
Notable holes include:
- Hole 3, a particularly attractive downhill par 4 requiring an all water carry approach to the green

- Hole 8, a dramatic par 4 along the coastline. Both the tee shot and approach must carry ocean inlets. World class!
