The terms relate to the tour you have submitted an on-line booking form for and/or paid monies towards.

Deposits and Final Payments

A deposit must be paid to confirm your place on a tour.

The deposit is due at time of booking and is non-refundable.

The balance is due 65-days before tour commencement, unless advised otherwise. All payments made are non-refundable within 65 days of departure.

Failure to make payment by the due date may cause cancellation of your booking and extra fees may be charged to reinstate your booking.

On certain tours, there may be variations to the payments schedule. If this is the case, you will be advised in writing and the new payments schedule will override the standard payment terms above.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel more than 65 days before the departure date, we will retain the full deposit and endeavour to obtain refunds of any other payments made, subject to The Travelling Golfer receiving a refund from our supplier.

For cancellations within 65 days of departure date, no refund is payable.

There is absolutely no refund for cancellation for unused services on or after the tour commencement date.

On certain tours there may be variations made to our standard cancellation policy. If this is the case, you will be advised of this in writing. Cancellation terms that pertain to a particular tour will override these standard cancellation terms.

Notifications of cancellations must be forwarded to The Travelling Golfer in writing or email as soon as possible. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Please Note: these cancellation terms only relate to Travelling Golfer Tours. Pre, post or optional holiday packages added to your golf tour will be subject to the refund policies of the respective suppliers.

Airlines have their own cancellation terms and conditions.

You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, gear purchases or non-refundable flights and taxes.

Travel Information

Smart Traveller

It is your responsibility to visit the Australian Government's travel advisory and consular assistance service. Visit http://smartraveller.gov.au.

Check whether a VISA is required for the countries you are visiting, as well as for any travel warnings, health and vaccine requirements.

Passport

https://www.passports.gov.au

  • Australian passports are valid for travel into and out of Australia regardless of the length of remaining validity. An Australian passport remains valid until the expiry date. However, it is the right of any country to control entry into their borders and this is usually done via visas or ensuring sufficient validity remains on the visitor’s travel document. Entry requirements are decided by foreign governments and are not something that the Australian Government can influence. You need to ensure that your passport has adequate validity to meet the entry requirements of the countries you intend to visit (or transit). Some countries require travellers to have at least six months validity remaining on their passports beyond the period of intended stay, and immigration authorities may refuse entry if you arrive with less than this. Airlines and passenger shipping lines may refuse to carry you if your passport has inadequate validity. Before travel you should contact the Embassy, High Commission or Consular representativeof all the countries you will be travelling to identify each country’s passport validity requirements. If you are unsure, it is safest to renew yourpassport prior to travelling.
