Yas Acres Golf & Country Club
Yas Acres Golf & Country Club was designed by Dana Fry and Jason Straka, and opened for play in 2021.
The par 36, nine hole course has 5 tee locations for each hole.
The beautifully contoured greens have enough different pin positions to offer variety for even the most regular players.
The course is fully floodlit allowing golfers to tee up after dark.
It is a championship standard course!
Notable Holes include:
- hole 1, a championship standard par 5 with water in play off the tee and left and back of the green. A burn runs across the fairway half way home! (see top of page)
- hole 2, a short par 4 defined by the approach to a green protruding into the water

- hole 5, a long, strong par 4 requiring two strong strikes to get home to a green defended by two elegant bunkers

- hole 6, a shortish par 3 in a sea of sand and rocks playing to a slightly raised green protected by three elegant bunkers
- hole 8, a longer par 4 playing through a valley protected by bunkers both sides

- hole 9, a par 5 to a green which is protected by water front, long and right. It can be an intimidating approach!

Yas Acres is in a category of it's own- it is a beautifull presented championship style nine hole course, deliberately playable for all off the appropriate tee.
We think it fits beautifully into our itineraries: later on arrival days, earlier on departure days or fitting in with group adventures in the dessert..
