Big Cedar Lodge is the brainchild of Johnny Morris, owner of the largest chain of outdoor equipment stores in the world
Morris has brought a sense of fun and adventure to his developing golf resort.
He has worked with some of the biggest names in golf to create three 18 hole championship courses (actually Payne's Valley has 19 holes) plus two short courses
The courses are:
Payne's Valley was designed by Tiger Woods
Ozarks National was designed by Coore & Crenshaw
Buffalo Ridge was designed by Tom Fazio
Mountain Top (13 holes) was designed by Gary Player
Top of the Rock (9 holes) was designed by Jack Nicklaus
Each of these courses sits in a majestic setting, with beautiful mountain back drops in all directions.
Johnny Morris has complemented the golf with quality accommodation, and easy access to trails & waterfalls.
