King Island is now acknowledged as one of the most exciting golf destinations in the world.
Located less than an hour from Melbourne by plane, the wild exposed coastline on King Island provides a dramatic, spectacular setting for two very different courses: Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes.
Barnbougle Dunes has been attracting golfers from all over the world now since 2004 and is well entrenched in the top echelon of world ratings. Lost Farm is also a world top 100 course.
Together these four courses make a brilliant short golfing trip!

When planning this trip the size of the group will be important as direct flights into King Island & Barnbougle Farm vastly improve the flow of the trip, but can be expensive with smaller numbers.

Ocean Dunes starts with four ocean holes that completely blow you away! Thereafter the course turns inland, but the quality of holes does not diminish. Each hole has its own surprises, and has you on your toes with anticipation. The holes move through the huge dunescape offering variety and perfectly complementing the ocean holes.

King Island Golf & Bowling Club is a nine hole course on rolling linksland near the town of Currie. In recent years it has gained acclaim as one of the best nine hole course in the world.

Whilst not in the class of the two new courses, the nine holer occupies classic links land and would provide an excellent warm up round to the main event.
