Although the site is relatively flat, it is beautifully bunkered and good test of golf for all levels of player. It is a course that demands decisions, and I like that.
It is also a great walking course, and one of the better conditioned courses you will play.
2. Tasmania Golf Club is a spectacular, dramatic course carved out of a steeply undulating bush site on a peninsula site.
The fairways are at times claustrophic, framed by tall white trunked eucalypt trees.
It is a roller coaster ride from sytart to finish with some thrilling holes
3. Claremont Golf Club offers a delightful golfing experience on the outskirts of Hobart.
It is a parkland style course in the most sublime location- surrounded by the picturesque Derwent River
And it is great fun to play!
4. Kingston Beach Golf Club is a popular course in Hobart's southern suburbs.
The course is known for it's famous 'inclinator' which takes you back to the clubhouse after your round
5. Ratho Farm dates from 1822 and is the oldest course in Australia.
This remarkable links is unique, and great fun to play with some holes routed over and around stock yards, garden hedges and other unlikely golfing hazards.
