Vinpearl Golf Course was designed by IMG design and opened for play in 2012.

The course was developed as part of a larger plan that includes luxury accommodation, world class theme park and so much more..

The Vinpearl course is located on hilly island terrain.

The course moves up and down through the dense jungle providing a variety of golfing experiences.

Whilst the course could be described as resort like, it presents a serious golfing challenge.

With bougainvillea in bloom, the nicely manicured course presented as a most enjoyable and picturesque golf outing.

But it is a serious challenge at the same time.

Although the locals find it amusing!

Notable holes include:

 

Hole 2, a short dogleg par 4 around a lake- it is pretty as a picture!

- Hole 7, an uphill par to a green with boulders protecting the green

 

 

Hole 8, an uphill par 3 protected by bunkers and boulders

Hole 12, a short dogleg par 4 through the jungle, over and around water to a green projecting into the h20 (see pic top of page).

Hole 17, a twisting, turning par 5 out of the jungle to a near island green

 

 

 

Vinpearl is an interesting part of the world.

The island has a serious ferry service from the mainland, and boasts a large fun park and accommodation options as well as the golf club.
