Scotland is the home of golf!
Each year keen golfers all of over the world make pilgrimages to play the famous Scottish links
The Travelling Golfer has group golfing packages playing The Best of Scottish Links each year.
They are available for independant groups or as fully escorted tours
At the top of everyone's bucket list is The Old Course at St Andrews.
The Open Championship is the biggest event in golf and we have all become very familiar with the famous old links that host The Open: Turnberry, Royal Troon, Muirfield, Carnoustie & The Old Course are the current Scottish Open venues.
Former Open venues in historic Prestwick & Musselburgh Links can be added as an option to this tour to give a more complete Open Championship experience.
If time permits we would also include Nth Berwick- a world top 100 course and everyone's favourite Scottish links, Kingsbarns just a few minutes from St Andrews, and the northern trio of Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart & Cruden Bay.
This is the best of Scottish Links- a pilgrimage to Scottish golf, and an unforgettable golfing adventure!

Castle Stuart is a modern course which has hosted The Scottish Open a number of times already- it is spectacular!
Muirfield is famous for hosting the Open Championship, and is generally regarded as one of the ten best courses on the planet.
Nth Berwick's West Links is one of my favourite courses anywhere and Cruden Bay is also great fun to play!
Carnoustie is a great test of golf and reputed to be the hardest course on the Open Rota.
Royal Dornoch is regarded by many as a world top 10 course but has yet to host the Open because it is remote and hasn't the facilties to host a major event
Turnberry 's Ailsa course is now definitely a world top 10 course since the renovation by MacKenzie & Ebert
Royal Troon is a wonderful links course and has hosted some classic Open Championships- who could forget the showdown between Stenson & Mickelson in 2016?
