United Arab Emirates
History of The UAE
In the 19th century, Britain signed a series of agreements with individual Emirates that resulted in an area known as the Trucian States.
The Emirates agreed to refrain from engagement or from ceding of territory with any foreign government other thanthe U.K.
In 1996 Dubai discovered oil off it’s coast.
By 1971 under the leadership of HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Dubai it became independent of Britain and formed the United Arab Emirates.
Dubai was joined by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah (making seven emirates)
Dubai is now home to 68,000 millionaires, over 200 of whom are worth over $100 million.
There are 15 billionaires.
With all the development and growth Dubai is a magnet for ultra high net worth individuals, who are flocking to live in Dubai
Abu Dhabi is also very wealthy with rich oil fields both on and off shore.
As a result both of these emirates have invested in ultra modern cities, facilities, cultural events, sporting events, and golf courses!
The UAE is now a global destination and perfect for golf trips.
What could be better than a group of high quality courses, modern accommodation, and a selection of the world’s best sporting events, shows and shopping..
