Yas Links
Yas Links was designed by Kyle Phillips (Kingsbarns, Cal Club, South Cape Owners Club), and opened for play in 2010.
It is located on the west shore of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi's island of entertainment.
Yas Links has been rated as high as 34th in Golf Digest's Top 100 in the world outside the USA.
The club has hosted the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in 2022 & 2023, and is currently regarded as the premier courses in the UAE.
Yas Island features theme parks, accommodation and lots of dining options.
Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Brothers, the Louvre and Cirque du Soleil are amongst the most popular attractions in the area.
And there are regular concerts and sporting events.
Course
Yas Links clubhouse
Yas Links is a links style course right on the west shoreline of Yas island.
Seven holes abut the water.
The course is both picturesque and challenging.
Notable Holes include:
- hole 8, a longish par 3 along the shoreline with water right.

- hole 13, a short par 3 with water carry to a green protruding into the water

- hole 14, a shorter par 4 along the coast line to a well bunkered green on the water's edge

hole 18, a strong par 5 along the shoreline to finish. Longer hitters can elect to take on the fairway bunkers and water left to enable an epic shortcut approach to the green!
