Meadow Springs Golf & Country Club

Robert Trent Jones Jnr has certainly left a legacy in Australia with some quality golf designs that are all unique in their own way, and fit the land they sit on. Meadow Springs, which opened in 1993, is no exception…

His other courses are The National GC- Old Course, and Cape Schanck in the Mornington Peninsula, Coolum on The Sunshine Coast, and Joondalup Resort north of Perth CBD.

Meadow Springs is located in Mandurah an hour south of Perth, and is routed through rolling parkland terrain complete with ancient Tuart and gum trees.

While the highlight for me is the way the course winds through the trees, Meadow Springs does have a distinctly different character to his other Aussie courses while still displaying traits common to Trent Jones courses. The greens are big and contain significant movement. Reaching the green is only the start of your journey each hole!

Meadow Springs has a nice selection of short par 4’s, doglegs, longer holes, and some impressive water holes thrown in.

Notable holes include :

- the winding par 5 second hole

Meadow Springs is one of my favourite golfing venues in Western Australia, and is always beautifully groomed.
