Located in the arctic circle on the 68th parallel, Lofoten Links is a unique golf course in a magical setting.
The Lofoten archipelago is known for it's dramatic scenery with crystal clear light, impressive ocean and mountain backdrops and a scattering of tiny fishing villages.
Depending on the time of year, golfers can enjoy playing under the midnight sun, or taking in the northern lights at night.
The routing of the links incorporates no fewer than seven gorgeous ocean side holes- and the combination of carries over sea and sand, and tight landing areas defined by granite boulders- is intoxicating!
No two holes are the same, and the variation continues on the inland holes where the undulating terrain, rocky outcrops, and lakes have all been used to create memorable holes.
We rate Lofoten Links as a Travelling Golfer "must play!"

Hole Two is surely one of the world's iconic par 3's!
It is but a short iron playing from a rocky promontory to a near island green.
The tee shot is pure theatre with the green nestling in a bed of rocks surrounded by sea.
I know of no other hole quite like it
It's a fantastic golf hole!
