Quivira GC- hole 5 tee to green
Quivira Golf Club is located on cliffs on the tip of the peninsula jutting out in to the Pacific Ocean.
It is a spectacular site.
The opening four holes are relatively quiet, but then the drama builds as the drive to the 5th tee covers 3/4 of a mile and winds it’s way up the mountainside, along impressive bridge spans over the crevices and gullies, past a snack station and finally to the 5th tee.
Hole 5 commands your attention.
It is a short par 4 with both tee and green precariously located on sheer cliffs and only a sliver of fairway between.
With a 300 foot drop to the ocean below, and fully exposed to the elements it is no surprise that it is rated the hardest hole on the course
It's a fantastic golf hole!
