Tropical Twosomes Port Douglas
What a great few days we had .......... sunshine, tropical breezes, sunset cruises, a poolside barbecue, exotic restaurants and a golf course lined with swaying coconut trees and lagoons teeming with wildlife, ..... PERFECT.
GOLF RESULTS
Boy it was a tense last few holes in the what was a very close final played out between Hank & Annette Den Elzen and Mike & Jacqui Mitchell. Even the croc has his teeth clenched... - It all came down to the very last putt ..... with a very excited Jacqui and Mike winning on honour.
Our other Monday finalists were Richard & Michaela Hazeltine and locals John & Shirley Carney, who finished 3rd and 4th respectively.
The Plate Event was won by Ian Craigie and Rudi Puels.

FUNDRAISING
We had lots of side bets and games going throughout the weekend and managed to raise over $3000 for Peter Mac. This money has gone into the Barnbougle Beanie Fundraising Pool, bringing the 2012 Beanie fundraising to ~ $24,000. Over the past 5 years we have raised over $114,000 for Peter Mac. Well done to everyone who has contributed.
