Big Cedar Lodge was conceived and built by conservationalist Johnny Morris, the founder of Bass Pro Shops.
He conceived Big Cedar Lodge as a destination for active people to get together to enjoy the striking wilderness that is the Missouri Ozark Mountains.

Top of the Rock
Top of the Rock is a nine hole par 3 signature design course by Jack Nicklaus.
It is the first ever par 3 course to be included in a professional championship.
Each of the nine holes is clearly a tournament standard hole.
It is all quite magnificent!
And it has an Augusta like feel with pristine gardens and lakes making an ideal golfing landscape.
Notable Holes:
- hole 1- a short to middle iron uphill shot to a green in a lovely country setting
