Course Review

When the famous West Course at North Berwick became overly busy in the early 1890's the Town Council made the brilliant decision to construct and then manage a new public course to complement the West Course. It was called the Glen (North Berwick East Links) and dates from 1894, and it has flourished ever since.

It started as a nine holer, but due to demand the nine hole course was extended to 18 holes. The extended course emerged under the guidance of James Braid and Ben Sayers. It has been busy ever since!

Glen GC in North Berwick is a course that is often overlooked by travelling golfers as  North Berwick, Muirfield, Gullane, The Renaissance Club  & more bring the golfing hordes in. Increasingly travelling golfers have come to recognise the quality and number of links courses in the area.

East Lothian is a golf destination all on it's own, and the Glen is worth a look ...
