Kaua'i

The Na Pali CoastThe Na Pali Coast

Kauai is an island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian archipelago. It is known as 'the Garden Isle', thanks to the tropical rainforest covering much of its surface. The dramatic cliffs and pinnacles of its Na Pali Coast have served as a backdrop for major Hollywood films, while 10-mile-long Waimea Canyon and the Nounou Trails traversing the Sleeping Giant mountain ridge are hiking destinations. The beaches are good- everyone should visit Hanalei Bay, and the waterfalls are pretty special.Waipoo Falls in the Waimea Canyon cascades 800 feet!

One activity that is non negotiable on any visit to Kauai is the helicopter rides over the island. They take in the waterfalls, the dramatic Na Pali coastline, and the Waimea Canyon. It is without doubt the most dramatic and memorable chopper trip in Hawaii.

And then there is the golf!
