Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club was designed by Ross Watson and opened for play in 2006.

Located on a narrow spit between Lake Tugerrah and The Pacific Ocean, Magenta Shores has an idyllic setting.

The sand base is perfect for links golf by the sea, and the sea breeze is always a factor.

Given the zoning regulations none of the holes actually abut the beach, but are set back 100 metres or so.

It matters not- the rolling sandy terrain has been crafted to produce a nicely contoured links course.

The bunkering is dramatic and defines the course.

Memorable holes include:

- the teasing par 5 eighth hole- will you take it on?

- the challenging par 5 tenth hole which is brilliantly bunkered

- the tricky par 4 thirteenth hole

- the par 3 fifteenth hole- it is short but challenging!

Magenta Shores is one of the best few courses on the New South Wales Coast, and well worth making a trip to play.
