The Travelling Golfer Tips
The Boulders Golf Course
A breathtaking 6,811-yard course. The North Course features 18 scenic holes surrounded by boulder formations, Sonoran Desert sunsets, and natural desert terrain. Challenge your golf skill on a course considered to be among the most demanding in the Southwest. A scenic 6,726-yard course The South Course at The Boulders a golf experience to be remembered. Tee up to our signature hole 5th hole, featuring a green shaded by a dramatic rock outcropping and unmatched views of the surrounding desert.
Troon North
The Monument stretches to 7,028 yards from the tips and has a par of 72. Just like neighboring Pinnacle, the Monument winds through desert replete with arroyos, natural washes, huge saguaros, mesquite and ironweed. The course has lush green fairways, some hidden behind boulders, along with high-lipped bunkers and mounds. Then there are the huge, tricky greens that befuddle and amaze first-timers. Many tees are set like pedestals perched above the fairways.
TPC at Scottsdale
The Stadium course at TPC Scottsdale was designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf to serve as the stage for the PGA Tour's annual visit to Scottsdale. It has been cited by Golf Digest as being among the top 10 public courses in Arizona. Tour-quality standards are maintained year-round, offering amateurs the chance to test their game on the big stage. TPC Scottsdale is, of course famous, for it's par-3 16th hole that provides fans with a "stadium" atmosphere and creates one of the most exciting settings in golf
We Ko Pa
We-Ko-Pa's two courses, Cholla and Saguaro, have much in common â both are meticulously maintained, both have received high praise from the golf media and consumers alike and both offer a tranquil golf experience free of houses and roads, thus preserving the unobstructed mountain views of the Sonoran Desert. That is where the similarities end. The Cholla course is recognized as the reference course for the quintessential target style desert golf course. Whereas, the Saguaro course was designed as a more traditional style golf course where greens are close to tees, ideal for walking, and the course follows the natural movement of the land.
Grayhawk Raptor Golf Course
Stretching 7,135 yards from the back tees, the par-72 Raptor Course meanders over the gentle hills and across shaded natural washes that are typical of this picturesque corner of the Sonoran Desert. Raptor offers players panoramic views of Scottsdale's rugged McDowell Mountains as it surrounds them with towering Saguaros, Palo Verde, Ironwood and Mesquite trees that were preserved in creating the golf course.
