On this 14-day golfing safari you will play the best golf courses in South Africa, experience the thrill of an African safari, marvel at the wonderful scenery, taste the fabulous food and wine - all whilst staying in luxury accommodation andbeing personally guided throughout.
The main tour begins in Cape Town, or you may wish to start your tour earlier, and arrive in Cape Town on the famous Blue Train, a magnificent 5-star hotel on wheels. You also have the option to finish with 3 days at Sun City Resort, renowned for the Gary Player Course (rated 5 in SA) and the Palace of the Lost City resort hotel. We also have a 3-day Victoria Falls package available that will complete your Golfing Safari experience.
The golf courses you will play are: The Links at Fancourt (rated number 1 in South Africa), Leopard Creek (rated 3), Montagu at Fancourt (rated 9), Pearl Valley (rated 17), Pezula (rated 18) and Pinnancle Point (rated 25) with an option to play Outeniqua at Fancourt (rated 23).
In Capetown you will spend 3 nights at the posh Cape Grace Hotel, ideally located on the vibrant V & A Waterfont. You will visit and experience all the highlights - a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, a full day tour of Cape Hope Peninsula, golf at Pearl Valley and wine tasting in the famous wineland region of Stellenbosch, plus a degustation dinner in the Signals Restaurant with matching wines. This is the complete Cape Town experience.
You then fly to George, located in the heart of 'The Garden Route', and experience a variety of wildlife activities - Elephant sanctuaries, Big Cat experiences, Monkeyland and more. The fabulous Fancourt Resort is your home for 4 nights, you play "The L inks" (Rated 1 in SA) and the stunning Montagu GC and indulge in all the amenities this famous Golf Resort & Spa has to offer. There is an option to playthe Outeniqua Course or indulge in a Spe treatment. A gourmet dinner at Henry Whites Restaurant is included. You wll also play golf and stay at the upmarket Pezula Golf Resort & Spa, overlooking the Knysna Lagoon. The golf will finish with a presentation dinner at Pezula.
A flight North, and you are off to play Leopard Creek Golf Course (Rated 3 in South Africa) and a 2-night fully inclusive stay at Buhula Lodge, situated on Crocodile Creek overlooking Kruger National Park. Here you can dine on the verandah whilst you spot the Big 5.
The main tour ends with an unforgettable safari experience at Kirkmans Kamp. This all inclusive, luxury, historic safari lodge dates back to the 1920's, and has the gracious, ambience of a bygone colonial life. Set in one of the most renowned wildlife regions in the world, it has unfenced borders with Kruger Natonal Park, and is famous for leopard sightings. Your stay includes day and night safari drives, walking safaris, bush walks, all meals and accommodation in private suites with claw foot baths and verandahs to take in the breathtaking views. It will be an unforgettable experience.

The Blue Train
A wonderful way to travel to Cape Town is via The Blue Train. The Blue Train is a magnificent five-star hotel-on-wheels that travels over 2 luxurious nights from Pretoria (departing 6.30pm, 7th October 2019) to Cape Town (arriving 10.30am, 9th October 2019 to meet the start of your main tour). Your deluxe suite will be a home away from home, transforming from relaxing lounge during the day, to a subtly-lit bedroom during the night, complete with your own private opulent bathroom.
A 3 hour stop will be made at Kimberley Station, with a 3-hour guided visit to the Kimberley Open Mine and Museum. Meals are a highlight, served in the elegant dining car and are certain to exceed expectations. The lounge car is a wonderful place to meet up for an afternoon high tea.
