On this 14-day escorted tour, you will play golf on some of France's best private courses whilst exploring villages, chateaus and palaces of the Loire Valley and the Dordogne (Perigord).
Accommodation is handpicked and includes a classic French hotel in the heart of Paris, 16th century mansion in Fontainebleau, a luxury country Estate in the Loire Valley, a sumptuous 16th Century Chateau in the heart of the Dordogne and a 5-star hotel in the lively heart of Bordeaux. All accommodation is located in the best positions imaginable.
You will visit the famous towns of Fontainebleau, Brantome, Blois, Sarlat, Saint Emillion, Bordeaux and more.
Transport is by private luxury coach throughout.

Itinerary
ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrive at Paris. Check into the Bedord Hotel for 4 nights, ideally located near the Champs Elysees. Welcome dinner together (included)
Day 2 - Breakfast. Play golf at Saint Germain, 10 miles form the heart of Paris set in the magnificanet forest of Saint-Germain.
Day 3 - Breakfast. Play golf at Chantilly (Old). Option to visit Chateau de Chantilly Musee Conde after golf.
Day 4 - Breakfast. Play golf at Le Golf National (Albatross) host of 2018 Ryder Cup and 2024 Olympics. (The course is due to reopen on 26th June 2026 after extensive renovations. if the reopening is delayed, golf will be played at La Boulie instead, an excellent course from the early 1900's or we can leave it free for sightseeing in Paris)
Day 5 - Breakfast. Check out. Travel to Fontainbleau. Play golf at Fontainebleau GC, a beautiful course set in the famous sandstone forest. Check into Aigle Noir Hotel for 2-nights. Fontainebleau has many wonderful restaurants and shops, so you will enjoy the evenings here.
Day 6 - Breakfast. Sightseeing day. Visit Chateau de Fontainebleau, this castle has been the King of France's Castles for centuries. The beauty and history will blow you away. Visit the charming village of Barbizon, the cradle of pre-impressionism of the 19th-century. Today it is the heart of French landscape painting with numerous art galleries and museums. Visit Chateau de Vaux le Vicomte, created in 1661, this outstanding castle was used as the model for Versailles. Marvel at the architecture, sumptuous decorations and breathtaking gardens.
Day 7 - Breakfast. Check out. Head towards the Loire Valley stopping to play golf at Les Aisses Golf Course, located in the heart of the Sologne Forest. The course is set in forests of oak, pine and silver birch with huge bunkers and water carries to make it a challenging course. After golf, stop briefly at Chateau de Chambord, the largest castle in France, for a photo. Check into 2-nights at Les Sources de Cheverny, a 5-star hotel nestled in the heart of Loire Valley vieyards. The hotel's estate includes an 18th century castle, old-style winery, pristine woodland and wooden cottages.
Day 8 - Breakfast. Full day guided tour of Loire Valley that includes visits to Chateau de Cheverny and Chateau de Chenonceau with lunch, plus time to relax and explore the historic city of Blois, and do some boutique shopping.
Day 9 - Breakfast. Check out. Travel south to the Dordogne Valley, stopping at the beautiful riverside village of Brantome for lunch. Continue onto Chateau des Vigiers and check in for 4-nights in the historic wing of the Chateau.
Day 10 - Breakfast. In the morning we visit the market town of Bergerac. Wednesday is market day so there will be lots of food and sights to enjoy. Plus there is there is the historic old town to explore, lovely squares and boutique type shops. In the afternoon, play golf at Chateau des Vigiers.
Day 11 - Breakfast. Full day sightseeing tour to the Perigord. Visit the VIII century city of Sarlat (with its numerous narrow streets, amazing shops and cafes, and rich architecture), the french medieval village of Beynac, perched on a rock, "balades" on the Dordogne River and the riverside village of La Roque Gageac, considered to be the most beautiful in the Dordogne. Today will be a highlight of your visit to France.
Day 12 - Breakfast. Play golf at Saint Emilion Golf Course, designed by Tom Doak. If you have time, squeeze in another 9-holes at Chateau des Vigiers, or simply relax by the pool or indulge in a spa treatment. Tonight the group will have a special presentation dinner at "Les Fresques", a Michelin star restaurant located in the histori Chateau. (included)
Day 13 - Breakfast. Check out. Visit the medieval town of Saint-Emilion. Enjoy a guided tour and check out the cafes and shops. After lunch, do wine tasting at Chateau Franc Mayne, a Saint Emillion Grand Cru Classic winery, located on the prestigious hillside of Cote des Francs. Continue onto Bordeaux and check into Burdigala Hotel for 1-night. Final dinner together at Madame B Restaurant. (included)

You must have travel insurance in place before making any payments. We can assist you with purchasing travel insurance cover at a competitive rate. *Price in AUD is subject to currency exchange fluctuations. Balance is payable 60 days before departure and the price in AUD will be calculated at that time. The deposit is non-refundable once the trip is a confirmed starter. No refunds at all will be paid for any cancellations made within 60 days of departure.
