On this 'bucket list' tour, you will play 8 of the Open Championship Courses in England & Scotland.
Royal St Georges, Royal Birkdale, Royal Lytham & St Annes, Royal Liverpool, Carnoustie, Turnberry Ailsa, Royal Troon, Muirfield and North Berwick, plus option to play Kingsbarns and go in the ballot for the Old Course at St Andrews.
These courses have hosted 107 Open Championships between them and eight of these courses are rated Top 100 in the *WORLD .

Rory at The Masters
Rory is an experienced traveller, tour leader and a passionate golfer. He is a member of The National GC and plays off a plus 1 handicap. He is also a pennant player, Club Champion and International Rater for Golf Digest USA.
He is involved at all levels of The Travelling Golfer business - from researching and designing trips, adminstration, management and of course the best job of all - leading groups. Rory is an experienced and much loved leader, and specialises in leading groups to The Masters, The Open Rota Championship Courses in the UK and Ireland's Best Courses. He also leads international visitors to the best Australia and New Zealand Courses. This is what our clients say about Rory:

Itinerary
Itinerary
The tour commences in Sandwich in SE England where you play Royal St Georges, host of 15 Open Championships and rated 19 in the world. Golf is followed by lunch in the historic clubhouse.
You then head north to Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles and spend 3 nights in the heart of Liverpool. You play Royal Birkdale (Host of 10 Open Championships) and Royal Liverpool (host of 13 Opens including the 2023 Open). A short distance away is Royal Lytham & St Annes (host of 11 Opens) where you stay overnight in the Dormy House, overlooking this famous course. You play golf at Royal Lytham and enjoy time in the historic clubhouse, mingling with the members. Your stay here is sure to be a highlight.
A rest day is spent driving through the stunning Lakes District to Turnberry. Two nights are spent in accomodation overlooking Royal Troon, before playing the Turnberry Ailsa Course (host of 4 Opens and rated 12 in the world) and Royal Troon (host of 10 Opens including the 2024 Open).
Leaving Turnberry you head to the charming seaside town of North Berwick where you play everyone's favourite golf course North Berwick Founded in 1832, North Berwick is one of the oldest in the world but has not hosted an Open. You then play Muirfield (host of 16 Opens and rated 10 in the world)
The tour concludes at the spiritual home of golf, St Andrews staying 4 nights in the town. You play Carnoustie (host of 8 Opens) and try your luck in the Old Course ballot at St Andrews (Host of 30 Opens) and also for an optional round at the famed Kingsbarns.
The tour finishes with a final presentation dinner of the Claret Jug.
