Cape Wickham Links has ocean views from every hole, and on my early assessment four all world holes, with another 4 spectacular holes that need to be tweaked to be in the same category.
Ocean Dunes is slightly less exposed, but starts with four ocean holes that completely blow you away! Thereafter the course turns inland, but the quality of holes does not diminish...Each hole has its own surprises, and has you on your toes with anticipation...If anything the holes through the huge dunescape offer variety and perfectly complement the ocean holes. On holes 10 & 11 the course returns to the sea for a couple of iconic seaside holes before heading inland. The finishing off at Ocean Dunes is ultra professional as well- you know you are somewhere special immediately you walk on the first tee.
King Island Golf & Bowling Club is a nine hole course on rolling linksland near the town of Currie. In recent years it has gained acclaim as perhaps the best nine hole course in the world. Whilst not in the class of the two new courses, the nine holer occupies classic linksland and would provide an excellent warm up round to the main event...

Another option is to combine King Island with a few days at Barnbougle Dunes for a really world class golfing getaway.
International or interstate visitors may also consider adding a few days at Melbourne's iconic sandbelt courses.I doubt there is a better golfing escape in the world than one which includes the likes of Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath, Victoria, Metropolitan, Cape Wickham, Ocean Dunes, Barnbougle Dunes & Lost Farm....
